Our Story
Sammen Systems was founded by James Eiten, who has spent his career in the low voltage and security industry — starting as a field technician, advancing to project management, and ultimately designing physical security systems for some of the largest and most complex facilities in the country, including hyperscale data centers.
Over the years, James worked across an enormous range of environments — restaurants, retail, pharmaceutical manufacturing, corporate offices, colocation facilities, and hyperscale data centers. That breadth of experience shapes how Sammen Systems approaches every decommission: methodically, with an understanding of what was installed, why, and what it takes to remove it properly.
Sammen Systems was built to fill a gap James observed throughout his career — the lack of a focused, professional decommissioning service that truly understands the systems it's removing. That's what we set out to be.
The Name
Sammen
Sammen is the Danish word for "together". It reflects how we work — closely with our clients, understanding their timeline, their obligations, and their site — and delivering a decommission that works for them.
We're not here to upsell you a monitoring contract or lock you into a service agreement. We're here to solve the problem in front of you and leave your site better than we found it.
